First, I am investigating how empathy develops during the first years of life. For this I use various methods (behavioural, eye-tracking, psychophisiology) in an attempt to identify some of the mechanisms that are involved in infant affects sharing, and how this shared affect is related to empathic responses or predicts later developing empathic responses.
