Research interests:

My research interests concern anxiety disorders, as well as subclinical symptoms of anxiety and the processing threatening facial expressions across childhood and adolescence. My studies have looked into attentional biases as cognitive vulnerability factors in subclinical anxiety of children aged 8 to 14. For future investigations I am interested in age related and individual differences in the processing of positive and threatening facial expressions with a special focus on the hypothesis emerging from evolutionary psychology.
